Tea Ceremony

We held Tea ceremony together with Kasuga Plaza International Office of University of Tsukuba.
The researchers from overseas, Japanese class students and their families tried this traditional Japanese culture.
They listened to the talk of a tea master, and watched solemnly the elegant procedure of tea making.

The participants not only drank tea in the tea ceremony way, but also tried to make tea, stirring tea powder in hot water with a bamboo tea whisk. They enjoyed delicious sweets as well as tea. Some asked where those are available.
